FAQs
-
This retreat is designed for women of all ages and backgrounds who wish to combine their Umrah journey with spiritual learning, sisterhood, and reflection. Participants must meet Saudi visa eligibility requirements.
No prior retreat experience is needed — just an open heart.
-
Absolutely. We designed this retreat specifically to be a teaching-heavy, enriching environment. By keeping our groups small, you benefit from direct access to mentors who can walk you through every ritual, step-by-step, without judgment.
-
Not at all. This is a "come as you are" space. We focus on the spiritual "why" behind the rituals, making the experience accessible whether this is your first Umrah or your tenth.
-
Not at all. Our community is diverse and international, and all programming is offered in English (with Arabic support when needed).
-
Sisterhood is our core. We facilitate connection through a private group chat before the trip, daily "Heart-to-Heart" reflection circles, and thoughtful roommate matching for those traveling solo.
-
For Umrah, women can now travel without a mahram if they are part of an organized group. Since this is a women’s retreat, you do not need a mahram to participate.
-
Flights are not included. Participants are responsible for booking their own international flights to Jeddah (JED) or Madinah (MED). We will provide clear guidance on arrival and departure windows.
-
We recommend flying into Jeddah (JED). It is the most streamlined and safest international entry point. From there, we often use the Haramain High-Speed Train to travel comfortably between Makkah and Madinah.
-
We provide group airport transfers on the official retreat start and end dates. If you arrive outside of the designated times, you will be responsible for arranging your own transport.
-
The Saudi Umrah visa includes basic emergency health insurance. However, we strongly recommend purchasing additional personal travel insurance for flight cancellations or lost luggage.
-
If your flight is delayed, simply contact our emergency coordinator, and we will assist in arranging your transfer so you can rejoin the group seamlessly.
-
Each package is different. We provide comfortable shared accommodations in hotels close to the Haram in Makkah and Madinah. Room types are assigned based on availability. Upgrades may be requested before the retreat begins at your own expense.
-
Our retreat combines the sacred journey of Umrah with guided classes, spiritual reflections, cultural experiences, and sisterhood. You’ll benefit from a curated program that nurtures the heart, mind, and soul—something you won’t find in a standard Umrah package.
-
Yes, for maximum benefit and enough rest, we encourage participants to arrive early or extend their stay after the retreat. We can assist with extra accommodation and transport arrangements at an additional cost.
-
The retreat package includes accommodation, airport transfers (on set dates), guided Umrah, access to classes and workshops, selected meals, and on-the-ground support. A full inclusions/exclusions list is provided at the time of booking.
-
All sessions and activities are part of the group program. If you miss a class or activity, there will be no refunds or make-up sessions. It is your responsibility to attend.
-
If you hold an Umrah visa, you are eligible for free healthcare in certain hospitals. However, any medical expenses at private hospitals or clinics are your responsibility. We recommend carrying travel and health insurance.
-
In the rare case of cancellation due to force majeure (e.g., travel bans, health emergencies, weather), we will reschedule the retreat. Payments may be transferred to a future retreat, minus non-refundable vendor costs.
-
Most of our gatherings take place in Saudi Arabia’s sacred landscapes, but we are working on hosting special experiences and occasional offerings abroad.
-
Each retreat is unique, but you can expect a balance of guided reflection, group workshops, spiritual practices, time in nature, and moments of stillness. Everything is designed to nurture both the soul and the community.
-
You can sign up directly through our website. Each retreat page includes details, price, and secure registration links.
-
Once you register, we’ll send a detailed packing guide — but in general, bring comfortable clothing, a journal, and a heart ready for connection and reflection.
-
Please let us know during registration! We strive to accommodate various dietary needs during our group meals.
